Journey to the West

YAY my post for Fathers' Day is finally here (after much procrastination) ^^

On Fathers' Day last Sunday, my family decided to go to Jurong East Swimming Complex for a swim!!!! ^^ It's my family's favourite swimming complex coz it's cheap and has lotsa facilities.

Though it's not comparable to the recently renovated Wild Wild Wet and newly-constructed Adventure Cove, it still has the basic facilities of a water park ^^

Since young, my mum will always prepare lotsa finger food (chicken, fishball, nugget) and even beehoon, rice and dishes to go with rice HAHA. It beats the unhealthy only F&B outlet there (KFC) hands down k. We set off for JE swimming complex in the morning and lololol we camho-ed on the way there ^^

Erm I think this first photo was taken outside my home. HAHAHA my 自拍skills not bad right. First few times doing this and I'm already doing so well lolololol.

Ermmm on the MRT. Forgot that the light was behind us ): Nevermind I still think the photo is nice ^^

HAHA a tip for people who likes to zipai/ take photos. Always make sure the light is shining on your pretty face, never your back!! Yeah, it's common sense but most people often don't realise they are doing that!!! So take note k!!!

Finally reached Chinese Garden and we cut through the housing estates, buying bottled drinks along the way!! Fastest and shadiest way to get there ^^

Upon reaching, we were shocked to see the crowd there. Yeah, it's a Sunday but everyone will be out in shopping malls celebrating Fathers' Day so it should be empty right!!!! BUT NO. Banglas and Filipinos filled every tables by the pool so we didn't managed to get a table. ):

Eventually settled for an empty space on the dirty cement in the shade, which used to be an eatery. Wonder why it closed down :/ And off I went to snapped photos with my cui camera!!!

The pink water slides!!! The original photo was super fugly lolololol. It's an old camera after all. So I filtered most of the photos!!!!! ^^

I think that slides weren't open that day. Either that or people didn't have the required floats to go on the ride. The crowd was so huge that you had to wait at least half an hour for the floats so I guess many just decided to give the slides a miss.

Lolololol see that orange mushroom behind me? I used to like that little pool coz being in it made me FEEL LIKE A BOSS HAHA. It's like a mini massage pool for children, damn cute!!!!

Got tired of walking and went back to the shade to look for my sisters hahahaha.

I think I drew her eyebrows way too thick that day lolololol.

My sister joined me in my walk around the complex soon after!!

The vast difference in our skin tones makes it really difficult to filter the photos. Can't use 3/4 of the filters coz most of them make my sister disappear into the white background lolololol.

Oh ya, I wore my swimsuit below my tank that day HAHA and my dad kept commenting on how I should hide the ribbon of my swimsuit coz he found it ugly lololololol.

Wear a cap on bad hair days!!! Actually my hair wasn't really that bad la, just felt like wearing my new cap lolololol.

After the long walk, I proceeded to change into my swimsuit with my meimei.

Lolololol my 妹妹 and 姐姐 smiles the same way. FOREVER WITHOUT TEETH. Don't you think that smiling without teeth tends to make them look like they are forced to laugh???

Like "I'm smiling for the sake of the photo! Not because I'm happy". Defeats the purpose of taking photos :/ My sisters always argue that their teeth aren't straight and pretty so they just smile without teeth. Lolololol in that case, I should just shut my mouth when I smile since my teeth are much more crooked compared to theirs right. But then I won't look happy what, so no thanks.

We stop taking photos and headed for the pools!!! Decided on Lazy River and went 2 rounds before attempting to learn swimming in the competition pool.

Sighhhh yeah I don't know how to swim ): HAHA and I don't intend to go for swimming lessons still. It'll be super embarrassing if I join all those little kids for basic swimming lessons!!! My solution? Go swimming with people who can swim HAHAHA

After gulping down mouthfuls of water (I inhaled lotsa of chlorine water too, HAHA), we headed for the Tsunami pool which was having its occasional showers ^^

The showers are really, really cold ^^ Damn 爽!!! Love standing under the showers and stoning HAHA

But no matter how much you like having the showers over your head, please don't be a retard and follow the showers. It's super annoying and impolite!!!

When I was stoning in the middle of the pool, groups of people was chaotically shoving their way just to have the showers on them throughout that 5-10 minutes. What the shit is wrong with their brains??? They pushed me endless number of times when I was stoning there, enjoying the showers. So impolite and barbaric. Pffft.

We decided to leave after ~3/4 hours of swimming to go shopping ^^

Hehehe I took this photo when my mum was talking. The sun was about to set when we were about to leave/ leaving and the lighting was perfect for camho-ing. HAHA so we took quite a few photos on the way out and even on the bus!!!! ^^

We ended up in JCube, where we chanced upon MIYOC having a sale at the atrium!!! Lololol to be honest, that was the first time I heard of MIYOC hahahaha. I don't really follow fashion bloggers!!

And I absolutely love the ice-skating rink at JCube!!! HAHA though I can't ice-skate for nuts, I like the cold and watching people having fun on the ice ^^ And if I'm lucky enough, I can see professional ice-skaters showing off their graceful stunts!!!!

Headed for JEM after that ^^ HAHA I was jokingly telling my sister that JEM stood for Jurong East Mall, and found out it was really true upon reaching!!!!! To think that Singapore finally has a classy name for a mall, turns out not really uh?

Took a hell long time in H&M and I only bought a green tank, which I wore it the next day for team lunch HAHA. Oh ya, while the girls were shopping, my dad happened to be standing outside Din Tai Fung and was observing them making the famous Xiao Long Bao.

He then came to us, exclaiming how small and expensive the Xiao Long Bao were. Hahahaha my family haven't been to DTF before (YES, I haven't been there either) so yeah, my dad was shocked by the prices and sizes of the food servings HAHA

That summarises almost everything... I think? HAHA oh wellz, I'm too lazy to go on talking about it too. ANYWAY I'm starting to immerse myself into the world of mugging and completed one Physics MCQ!!!!!!! Maybe it's super little compared to what everyone has already completed, but I'm pretty glad I've finally found motivation to start on work (:

Oh oh oh and I guess I won't be blogging tomorrow coz I have lotsa things I want to do ^^ Crazy things like finishing a Maths tutorial, cycling/running and watching my Ghost Adventures!!!! ^^ Hopefully the haze isn't too bad tomorrow so that I can run!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND I WANT TO WATCH MONSTERS UNIVERSITY T.T Still haven't decided on who to go watch the movie with :/
HAHA and here's the song you've been hearing form the start of the post ^^ Decided to add this in coz... I guess it's better with music when you read. Was debating between this Sam/Kylee cover and Tiffany/Trevor cover coz both covers were so awesome!!! I liked Trevor's soft voice and Kylee's strong voice lololol. Eventually decided on this cover coz Tiffany's high notes weren't exactly nice lolololol but do check it out here still ^^ K I changed my mind. Tiffany/Trevor version is better lololololol.

Anyway I've started on work YAY ^^ Also, crazy me went to stairs-climb/run and do sitsup/ipulls yesterday when the PSI finally entered the 100-level zone ^^ Wasn't very effective coz I gave up after doing a little of everything HAHA but hey, I managed to get some exercise!!! Hopefully I won't die from the workout in the haze -__-

Speaking of the haze, THE SKIES ARE FINALLY CLEAR YAY!!!!!!!!!! MAYBE I'LL GO RUN AGAIN LATER!!! ^^
