Entering Seniority...

OAC-CLIMBING CAMP 2013
It was held quite a while ago, from 1-2 March and it was awesomeeeee 'cause we now have juniors in climbing and are seniors officially!!! ^^

Most photos are in Keita's camera and I doubt those photos will ever surface on Facebook any time soon. ): Oh well, at least I managed to capture some images before my camera died!

Camp started with lots of excitement (among the seniors) but few juniors. Self-introduced, followed by Wacko. But...
It's kind of awkward when there are more seniors than juniors during icebreakers...

Things got better when more juniors joined us after their Maths field test.

Speaking of which, oh my god I was pretty sure there was no tests at all at that time of the year when I was in J1 last year. Maybe that one GP diagnostic test which had answers literally thrown to us the lesson before it. But seriously, a Maths test on their first/ second week of lessons? The school's out to kill them but they seem to be perfectly fine with it. Pity them lots.

Okay soooo we went on to a fun icebreaker game, Broken Telephone - Drawing! Basically we had to draw this one word, pass it down the group and the last person will guess the word. And... it's kind of amazing how a rock can transform into a cloud. HAHAHA

After icebreakers, it was dinner time!!! Everyone was like...
Gobbling their food down once they got it. Maybe not that extreme but well, it's something similar when you have that many greedy guys on your team.

We proceeded onto our Night Games which were adapted from Running Man! First up was the Lemonade Game, whereby the players had to roll a dice to determine how many half-a-lemons and which spoon they will get and then they will have a showdown on who can finish their drink first! (:

PREPARATIONS
Six different kinds of spoons! Coffee stirrer, rice spoon, ladles etc.

AND THE GAME STARTS
Six half-lemons is no joke!

Daryl has one whole ladle of sugar with 6 half-lemons I think?

Everyone with their cups!

We finished all 40 lemons! (:

SHOWDOWN
Spot the winner on the right of the picture!

There's a video somewhere in Keita's camera and we all know it'll never be uploaded. ):<

While everyone cleared the place up, Huiyin and I went to the gym to move the mattresses to the TG block for the game! ^^
We were dead tired after moving the mattresses ):

This game is also adapted from Running Man! It's the Photoshoot game! ^^ The game's really easy! We just had to get onto the mattresses before the camera starts. 10 seconds later, the camera will take a photo and whoever's faces who are captured will win the round! (:

We (seniors) got down to try the game before the juniors came!

The juniors came along and we started the game!!

Got tired after a few rounds and everyone just sat down in a circle to chit-chat while waiting for the next activity to start.

The last activity for the night was Night Abseiling! So we brought the juniors to the bridge in front of the Boarding School where we shared ghost stories while the alumni and Jups prepared. Juniors were screaming away after every story and it reminded me of Ken who constantly scared Xin Min and I, making us scream at every little thing last year at OAC Camp :/ Just realised how retarded and annoying I was then, shall not be like that anymore!!

This year, is was my turn to scare the juniors. I shared my experience with the supernatural in Boarding last year. I still remember that whole scene extremely clearly and it really scares me until now, sigh. After that Haixuan made me go over to the Amphitheater to take care of the juniors who have finished the route. The problem was the corridor which brings me there was completely dark and I decided to follow Ken through the whole night walk to the Amphi!!

Hahahaha we took off our shoes so that we could walk quietly and caught sight of Johnson and Kelvin who were hiding at a corner and throwing paper balls at the poor victims. Zihao and Huachong were hiding at Crossroads and Zihao is really scary when he jumps out of nowhere like a zombie and follows you. Xinxian and Ziwei were in  a classroom with flashing lights. The really scary ones were Zhiyong and Deepak who did the most typical kind of scaring, which is to jump out at a corner!!!!!!!!!!!! If I was alone, I might have been quite cautious of their presence. But Ken and I were talking about some stuff they caught us totally off guard and both of us shrieked. Ended up laughing all the way back to Amphi.

It was a cold, breezy night, making it perfect for sleeping!! ;)
So instead of talking to the juniors, I slept at the top step of Amphi, nearest to the wall. I went to the mattress which Kelvin dragged out from the gym after a while 'cause the floor was getting uncomfortable. I was staring at the sky, and realised how pretty the night sky looked with all the stars and the big bright moon. The moon was bright to the extent of casting shadows!!! Fell asleep again and woke up to turn in for the night hehehe.

Sleep for quite some time before everyone turned in for this night.

The next day...

It was breakfast time!!! We got the last 3 who reached the canteen to do a forfeit!! ^^ They had to wear funny hairstyles and a poncho and serve breakfast to everyone ;) Pretty funny.

Here's the last photo in my camera before it died! (:

We played Limbo and everyone was amazed with Zihao's flexibility. A piggyback game followed and it's happy seeing the puzzle pieces coming together to form a photo of the team (: Had 1 1/2 hours of Running Man and it was FUNNNNNN. Too bad there were no videos or photos ):

I'm too lazy to elaborate more on the games! Hahahaha so we had this climbing competition for the juniors the whole afternoon! Climbed pretty hard when the alumni were climbing. But when they came along to look at me climb, I got scared and slacked for quite abit.

Sigh, I don't understand why seniors always get to me so much. I can talk to them perfectly fine and stuff, but when it comes to CCA, I get all scrunched up and refuse to do stuff in their presence. I have no idea when I developed this weird habit. Pretty sure I was fine when I was in primary school, maybe it came about after entering SNSB. Ugh, I need to kick this bad habit soon):

Went to Saizeriya (Japanese Italian Restaurant) for the dinner with the team! ^^ It was my first time there, and I have to say it is really not bad 'cause the food are quite affordable!!!!! :) Got myself a creamy pasta but it's not that nice honestly. Preferred the one from Tea Party Cafe!

Went home and crashed after that (:

The camp was generally really fun and felt quite bad I didn't help much with the organisation 'cause I was quite busy with something else :/ Shall talk about it some other time again. Bye guys! ;)
