-prays really hard-
ANYWAY, it's the H O L I D A Y S!!!!!!
Have been waiting for this ever since January 7. (That's the first day of school by the way HAHAHA) Already have a mental list of the stuff I hope to do this holiday!!! In fact, I already wrote the list previously HERE during the March Holidays. That's around... 10 posts back? Walao eh, this means I've only blogged approximately once a week. Whatever -.-
OH YA, I want to add something to that list up there so that I will have one extra thing to strike off!!! Hehehe, guess what I'm going to do!!!! I'm going to.......
Cycle everyday actually. I am serious!!! -.-
Okay la, maybe not everyday but at least 5 days a week? Must see whether I got time HAHA. But I'll try k. Quite interested in whether I will keep to this promise myself.
YUP so why cycling ah? Coz I like it la! As for why I like it, I can't give you an exact answer coz I myself have no idea why I'm so into cycling ._. Only reasons I can think of are...
1) I think I'm actually good at it because I can go on long distances when I'm on it. Bet you are rolling your eyes or going wtf now. WALAO EH you know I suck at endurance, be it physically or mentally, on flat or vertical grounds ): I cannot tahan the phrase about 'pushing beyond my limits' because 'everyone can do it, so can I'. As in, the phrase works when I'm super duper motivated to do something, which happens like once in a blue moon. Ya lor, so for me to be able to continue cycling even when I'm damn tired and when my thighs are really burning like fire, I think I'm quite good at it lor ^^
2) It's a form of exerciseeeeeee!!!! And I never liked exercising in those running and PT ways so cycling 万岁!!!!! ^^
3) Ermmmm it's fun? Not meh. You can go at a speed so fast that you can overtake pedestrians without much effort and... you can try funny things on it without looking retarded coz you'll zoom pass everyone in a blink of an eye!!!! You can like open your mouth really wide and enjoy the wind rushing pass you. Just make sure some insect doesn't fly into it la. Then you also can peddle really fast in the first 5 seconds and during the next five seconds, you just stick your legs out and enjoy the ride. If you had no childhood and have no idea what I am talking about, THIS IS A PICTURE.
4) Childhood hobby+Family bonding time. I learnt two-wheel cycling from my parents when I was 4/5. HAHA ZAI RIGHT. Okay I think lotsa people learnt around that age -.- But then right, I used to learn cycling at the HDB multi-storey carpark which is right next to my house. I remember learning it at the 5th floor and I swear at that point in time, there were barely any cars. Now, it's crowded with cars -_- Yup yup, ever since Daisy and I picked up cycling, my parents will bring us out to cycle to many different parts of Woodlands. Cycled to Woodlands Checkpoint most of the time, and you know how far or not!!!! I live near Singapore Sports School and for two little girls to cycle ~3/4km not easy okay!!!! #senseofaccomplishment HAHAHA
Cannot think of any more reasons liaoooooo. Hahaha I think I talked too much. Anywayyyyy I found a really pretty vintage looking bicycle!!!
And and and this!!!
Okay okay okay I shall stop talking about cycling ._.
On a side note, I went climbing with the team after my last paper on Thursday!!! ^^ Climbed at Kinetics for the first time and it's air-conditioned!!! So cool!! HAHA if only our school gym was like that. Yup yup, so after not going for over a month of trainings, I finally climbed!!! Felt so happy when I first got onto the wall but then I lost that happiness after a while la. Got so demoralized after that and left early with Hai Xuan and Jovin ):
Then there was training again yesterday and got all demoralized again. But then things got better towards the end when Hai Xuan, Xin Min and I started fooling around after we managed to complete all the hell-ish-tic circuits we had to do ): Sighhhh don't look forward to any more climbing leh.
In any case, seniors are stepping down after PumpFest next Friday so I guess I'll try to train as hard as the team as moral support for the whole team even though I will not be participating in it with them :/ Kinda sad to think that I'll most probably not be climbing after next week ): And our lovely Huiyin, every senior's favourite junior, will be flying overseas after Monday's training. In other words, she won't be down for PumpFest either, sianjipua ): Shall write about this next week la, byeeeeee.
P/S I'm creating Twitter soon!!!! ^^
P/S-S I'm finally answering those 8 pathetic questions at my Ask coz I was bored!! ^^
